Mini Medieval Assets Feedback

Hello, I just released an asset pack titled: Mini Medieval. This pack is a culmination of all of the pixel art practice, and itch pratice over the last few years of making assets. Overall I feel like my assets are of a quality that is acceptable, but my itch page still feels somewhat lacking.

I'm looking for honest feedback on how to make someone more interested in my pack upon visiting the page or seeing the thumbnail preview on itch. Advice that will hopefully lead to more sales, more ratings, more views.

In short the main question is how do I get more views (more clicks) onto my itch apge. My second question is, how do I make my page provide you (the viewer of it) more interest in purchasing my assets.

Here is a random mockup from the pack, but please view the page by clicking the link above, or this image.
Cheers, thanks for any feedback!

You got the most out of every pixel. I upped the contrast 40%, and it got my attention. I then filled in the black on the sprites. Now I'm inspired.

Thanks, I would love to see your alterations if you want to share them here, or DM me on twitter.
Edit: I'm also curious if you have any Itch page feedback in particular.

I would use Different colors for the characters than what the ground uses. I would also give them idle animations. However, I've never worked at this scale

.

Alright, this is what I thought you meant by the description you gave. I do agree that maybe having a backgroundless variation for all of the entities might be nice. The black background was a primary style choice to make "interactables" pop out on screen. In other words it helps me have simple sprites read clearly at a glance.

Yes. If I were going that route, I'd make them different colors, like chits.

I'm not familiar with chits :)

I see what you are saying! Thanks for all of the feedback, I'll take it into consideration for updates.
