Project X is an action-adventure visual novel about the fate of the world resting on your shoulders with three potential routes. Once a terrible incident occurs, Shield Rising players are trapped inside the game. The developers have kidnapped a select thousand and connected their brains to Shield Rising. Every player must participate in the killing game, or else. Either kill or be killed is the developers' moral code, but Aoi doesn't see things the same way. At least until she is in a do-or-die situation herself. While holding onto her humanity and killer instinct, Aoi must figure out a way to escape. She must find out how to win Shield Rising with as less casualties as possible and how to put a stop to the killing game forever.
