I came across this unique game by FenixDS where you manage your own cult. (This post is unbiased.)

The game is very high quality, both in graphics and gameplay, and very cute overall. You can order your cultists to perform one of ten unique tasks, each of which take up time. If you don't have enough resources to appease the demon at the end of the day, you're toast!

Let me give you a quote from the developer him/herself:

Unspeakable Eldritch horrors have awakened from their eon-long slumber and are now trying to breach into our reality. As the only person who seems to pay attention to these kinds of things you took it upon yourself to delay the inevitable by appeasing these intruders with offerings and sacrifices.
But for how long can you keep it up?

It has been released for nearly a month already and there is very little reception, so I invite you to play it. It has some balancing issues but nothing that gets in the way of gameplay.
