[Closed] Hi everyone,
We are forming a team to develop a new survival game combined with puzzle-like boss battles. The game will take the player to an exuberant underwater world, where they have to explore and learn to fend for themselves in this hostile environment. The goal of the player is to collect resources in order to craft tools/weapons that will unlock new areas to explore, and ultimately find boss arenas. For reference, we’re inspired by titles such as Shadow of the Colossus & Subnautica. For our initial MVP, we will focus on making a meaningful single boss fight and a small open world to explore and survive.
So far, our team consists of a programmer and a game designer, and we are looking for:
- 2x 3D Artists
- 1x Concept Artist
- 1x Writer
We are looking for collaborators that are passionate about creating interesting and innovative games. Someone who appreciates giving and taking constructive criticism. And someone who plainly just loves video games.
Our only goal is to create a game that we are proud of, and learn a bunch along the way.
The game is being developed in the Unity Game Engine.
The project is initially unpaid, but we are interested in looking for funding whenever the project reaches a presentable state. Our current primary goal is to create an MVP, that we can present and hopefully get funding to continue with our work in a more full-time capacity; which you will obviously get the opportunity to partake in as well.
For a more efficient team workflow, we’ll mainly be considering European based candidates; since we’re based out of Germany & Denmark.
