im on windows 10... I think im just on a windows! urm but I downloaded dis and I played the gae last night but then when I go to cntuinue I cant seem to find the DDLC folder!

click "Search Quick Access" and type DDLC.

the game should pop up.

if you want to open ddlc then you can see it open already. but if you want the folder then i think you should go to downloads and find the doki doki literature club folder. if that doesnt work then well............if you got it from steam then you should be able to open steam right click on the game then browse local files. this is all i know sorry if none of these helped

Right click the game in the Steam list (your library)

Click "Properties"

Click "Brows Local files"

Viola!

This only works if you downloaded the game through Steam...

Find "Steam" on your computer and launch it.

That will take you to the game files.

The Dokis are in /characters folder

GOOD LUCK!


FYI...

the firstrun file (you need to delete this to start a whole new fresh game) is in /game folder

Any mods also go into the /game folder

wait  it didnt deleted natsuki and monika  even though i have deleted monika.chr and natsuki.chr files weird

since the natsuki file is a fake, she'll get restored upon reopening. but the monika bit is weird! i can see that you managed to delete monika though, so that's good.

I was almost scared when I noticed I was on desktop and I did not know how to get into the game files. I have played the whoel game before just on a different PC and on Steam. I was scared, oh I was. Sorry for grammar mistakes.

ok so go to your files, and you will see a folder called "DDLC-1-1-1 PC." click on it, and you shall get some files. double click on the file you want to open, and there you go!

Hello! Ddlc players, I can get you into ddlc! If you own steam, on pc, 1. Double click steam, 2. Go to "Open File Location", 3. Click "steamapps" 4. Click "common", 5. Click Doki Doki. BAM! There ya go! Hope that helps.

I really want to ask this but, Can you delete the "hxppy thxughts" file thing? I was kind of creeped out just a bit a teeny tiny bit..Any help?

Not possible bud, Chrome OS doesn't really run ".exe" extensions and there is no website version of the game. Everything has to be downloaded in order to play.

you have to go to the folder you unzipped the files into, and open the folder. within, there will be the files you need. don't know how to help if youre on mac

I'll let you guys refer to the top of this thread if you run games using the Itch desktop app, but here's how you open the game files if you need to delete Monika or need to look for some files in the game's directory (no Itch desktop app).

It's the same folder you opened DDLC with, unless you're blind or something. All the game and character files are there alongside the Application for Doki Doki Literature Club, plus some. Hope that helped.
