Hey! I am looking at your game, and it looks spectacular! I am just curious.. what engine/software do you use to create the game itself?

I'm aiming to create 2D games like this myself, but don't know what software works best for such. I've tried Unity 2D, but my current pc is shet and cant keep a connectionlong enough for it install the files it needs to run, plus income isn't the best.

I've looked for a new pc and just need to save it up.

I've got some programs to help, like Aseprite (a free version) for sprites and sprite sheets but that's it. Idk any audio software or game development software in general..

(I'm completely new to this, if it wasn't yet obvious. I'm a noob!)

Developer(+1)

So our engine is actually our own, for the most part; as far as what engine would work best for games like ours, it's honestly up to the programmer/what's comfortable for them, since I think anything from Unity to Godot to Unreal has been used for 2D games.

Audio-wise, stuff like Adobe Audition is good, IMO.

Ah i see! I just got a new PC.. and I have fully installed Unity Hub and (slowly but surely) i am learning to use it! I hope to make a game as great as yours. I don't know how to draw human people in Aesprite, my sprite software of choice, just cause its simple and easy. (let alone, not knowing how to draw H CG's). but i hope to get better over time. Anyway, sorry to run my thoughts through a wood chipper.. (i tend to keep typing my thoughts without realizing it..) I LOVE your game so far! Hope to see more!
