How to add multi-versions app/game on itch.io?

Hello everybody,

How can I upload multi-versions app/game on itch.io, my game has 3 versions(free, limited, paid), on itch I have to make 3 different projects, one for free version and one for limited version and one for paid version.

Is there a way to upload all in one project and and user can choose.

Thank you,

You can probably mark the free version as a demo, and set a minimum price for the paid version. That way they could all live on the same page. But it's pretty clumsy. Sounds like three different project pages is just what you need.

Hey there,

Is the free version considered something like a demo? In that case, when uploading your file you can tick a box that reads:

[ ] This file is a demo and can be downloaded for free

This will mark that file as free to download for everyone, even if the game itself is paid.

my game has 3 versions(free, limited, paid)

What would the limited version be about? You can have a basic (limited?) paid version of the game for like $5, and have a more complete paid version for $10 in the same page. To do that, when you upload a file, there’s a tick box that reads:

[ ] Set a different price for this file

Important: The set a different price option works in a Tier system. That means if you have multiple files with a custom price, let’s say $8 and $10, then anyone who pays $10 for your project will have access to both files. To put it simply, If someone spends X amount of money for your project, they’ll have access to all files with that price or less.

Hope that solves your problem :)
