I have the same question in another topic.

This is bad..

From: anonymous helper

“Will players who have played or donated on Itch.io receive a free copy of Raft on Steam?”
We very much appreciate all the support and feedback we have gotten from our community, however, playing or donating to the itch prototype will not grant access to the Steam version of Raft.

Well.. that is a bummer.. :( :( :(

Kind of a dick move, devs.  Seriously.

I mean, I bought this when it was still available for Mac, and you almost immediately discontinued the Mac version.  Luckily, I have access to a PC as well, but this is just ridiculous.  It seriously feels like I'm being ripped off-- along with everyone else who paid you money for this already.

you didn't buy it though guys it was a donation. You had the choice to pay nothing... and how can they gauge how much/little people did donate? They can't go giving copies away to people who paid 10c. But I think they should give keys to anyone who donated 5 dollars or more and anyone else should get a 20% off voucher or something.

Well this sucks, We should get at least a discount on Steam, for real.

Don't you think about the fact that they'd need your Steam username? I mean you could make a new topic about your Usernames of who donated and how much. Not many people donated over 10$ so I'm assuming that is the cause..

I know i feel ripped off they wouldnt have it on steam if not for us helping with donations i know i donated 5 bucks before i played and i donated another 5 bucks after i played

are you serious? You DONATED, not bought, the game. Everyone expects extra stuff because of all these larger titles doing so. You've been spoiled. On a side note, I'm sure the devs could workout some discounts and what not but at the end of the day it's up to Steam to decide the how much they want to sell it for soooo...yeah it's a quality game and for anyone who donated less then $25, kmon, you're still paying a quarter the cost of a larger game so stop complaing and enjoy their work.

at the end of the day it's up to Steam to decide the how much they want to sell it for soooo

That's not how Steam works at all.

I don't think there is any facility for them to provide users who paid with a steam key even if they wanted to

Trash game anyway dont waste your time with the title..
