[Art] Looking for an illustrator for my visual novel

Hi there,

I'm creating a visual novel for the SuNoFes jam here on itch. The 'novel' part I have all under control, writing is not the problem. It's not finished, but I have most of the story outlined.

The 'visual' part however is a big problem. I'm not an artist, the best I can do is some simple stick figures. So, that's what I'm seeking help for.

I haven't decided yet what type of visuals I want, that depends on the type of artist you are. I'm leaning towards character sprites with a set of poses and emotions, maybe a few different outfits. Background would be a bonus. This would give me the most freedom. There's about 10 characters, two of them are identical twins, so that means one less set.

Another option is to have full illustration of some of the key scenes.

The style I'm looking for is somewhere between realistic and animé, Again this also depends on the style you, as the artist, are most comfortable with. I've used Episode Interactive to create most of my characters (see examples below), but can't use those images outside Episode. It is however a style I like very much, so something similar is prefered.

A little bit about the story: it's set about a century into the future. A part of the human population has developed genetic mutations, giving them powers like telepathy and telekinesis. They are monitored and controlled by the government. There are also vampires, werewolves, spirit creatures and some magic. The main character is a young woman, mid level telepath. The story follows her and her government assigned handler as they go on a job to find a missing person.

One final thing: this will be an unpaid partnership. I'm currently unemployed, so there is no budget at all. You will, ofcourse, get all the credits as the artist for the project.
