Just bought this Saturday and I'm very pleased. Well done! It's going to be a sweet tool for my solo RPGs.  Several things:

1) I just uploaded icons pngs (ie question mark icon) but I can't transfer them onto the map. I'm holding and dragging, as instructed, but to no avail.  Am I missing anything?  FYI - Mostly using PC app (bravo on the cross-platform sync by the way.) 

Also, can icons be used on any maps or only the main one?

2)I'm not going to be using Hex for a while (until I finish my current campaign) but tested just before this, and it looks lovely! 

3) I'm currently having an agnostic campaign using the 5e ruleset. My system is simple so it's fairly easy to modify and improvise. (I'm currently creating custom monsters using the NPC generator.) It would be excellent if the agnostic ruleset would permit us to create custom character stats and rollers.  Choose any number of fields, assign them all a label and numerical value that can be altered manually. Then, if desired, create dice macros based on these fields. I realize this might not be an easy feat. 

3a) Similar to 3, would be very cool if we could create custom monsters too.

I realize 3 and 3a requests are similar to what others have made in the recent past. Just tossing another vote in for it.  :)

Hello and thanks for using The Augur. The icons cant be added to the map directly, I forgot to remove the drag and drop tooltip for icons, which gives the impression that you can. The way to use them is to first have a location on the map (any map) and then change that location's icon. To do this open the location and look for the cloud library icon (the globe) at the bottom right of the panel. 

3)  3a) is Something that I want to add, I have been brainstorming on the best way to approach custom stats/mechanics and also on the best way to make it easy to use. I have seen other tools tackle this and it kinda works but it becomes incredibly cumbersome (in my opinion) or requires coding knowledge. Not saying mine will be any better, just that I am trying to come up with something that is powerful but also feels somewhat natural and easy to use. Can't promise it will be good, but I will definitely give it a try!

I am always open to ideas and suggestions on any feature/improvement.

With regards to 3) and 3 a), you've done an excellent job so far at making the whole thing powerful and easy to use. I'm sure when the time comes to implement it, you'll score well.  Besides, you have a galaxy creator to finish off first. :)

Another suggestion that's come to mind with or without 3) and 3a): it would be nice to have the ability to duplicate characters, locations and NPCs. Sometimes, save a lot of time duplicating one of these then modifying the 1-2 stats rather than have to start from scratch.

Apologies if this has already been suggested and I missed it.

Seggestion on Hexmap. It would be very cool to be able to rotate them. As silly as it may sound, you might find the auto-generated map perfect, except you wish the water or mountains was generated on the other side :D
