[Paid] assembling a team for retro RPG

Ahoy! Making a game for an indie comic franchise called Frontier Forever. The ultimate goal is to create an experience similar to Pokemon red/blue, but with a combat more similar to Final Fantasy Tactics. There's too much lore to explain here, but the general idea is that Earth is full of wild animal hybrids like gorillions (gorilla-lion, pronounced like millions) and poachers who are out to catch them. The general concept is that when players collect animals, they become playable characters that you can add to your squad. If you want more details on lore or the concept please reach out!

I'm absolutely astounded by how many great resources there are here on Itch, and from the passion I'm seeing in the forum, this is the community I want to be recruiting from! I have a very basic/drafty design document already, but this is the ground floor. Hi,

I am a 2d animator and illustrator. I offer paid and task-based commission work and am familiar with topdown pixel RPGs like Pokemon. I can create character sprites, creature sprites, tiled environments and more.

So I invite you to contact me if you have concrete tasks like: "create 5 characters or 3 tilesets" If you can also state some style and content specifics like "I need a forest tileset in the style of pokemon red containing ground, grass and trees" I can name a price and be done with the work in around 1-2 weeks or faster. hey I am interested in the artist role. Some info about me:

2D Game Artist | Spine Animator & VFX | Vector illustrator | UI/UX | Pixel artist
My name is Eli Stergiouli and I am a 2D game artist and Animator(Spine 2D skeletal animation), specializing in vector design with 4 years experience under my belt. My time zone is UTC+3.

Some of the 2D game assets I can design:

  • Animations: (Using Spine, Unity, Unreal engine and Godot) character/monster animations, UI animations, cut scenes
  • UI/UX: Mock-ups, UI assets, icons
  • Environmental art: props, vegetation, backgrounds, guns, tools, tiles, seamless patterns
  • Illustrations: avatars, characters, marketing material
  • Concept art: monsters, backgrounds, clothes
  • Pixel art: characters, backgrounds, props, and animations.

The software I mainly use:

Also, my programming background and my experience as an artist has helped me a lot with developing good communication skills across many different cultural backgrounds and types of teams. Moreover I mainly work with NDAs and contracts.
