After I ve passed one month, I bought some assets  which fits the idea of the Astarte's village. it is looking late of the medieval age but  i will edit and customise it and the world will look like middle of medieval age.

After hard work of 1 month ,  I am very happy to build the game's one level with 1 enemy.   I can not give spoilers but this will be improved and placed as a first level of the game. for now this is very primitive.  1GB with 1 enemy. But i could put 1k enemy too. So the mechanics are working but there are some issues too. If you want to please please Dm me.

We have some updates and a great news to you! 
We added new location to the first level, this level is designed to make the players familiar to the game mechanics and controls. It will be around 20 minutes gameplay. This is our playground to test our features and combine them in a harmony. 
We added gamepad feature and now Inheritance is both playable with keyboard and gamepad. 
we have upload our depot to Itch io and the application is passed from the functionality tests.  we highly recommend  to use Itch.io application to get the game because we will always release patches and itch io application will save tons of time  with a small amount of download. 

We are now working on a promotion video  (If anybody is good at video editing, would be awesome to join us) which will be the main marketing content of the game . so dont miss to join to the server!

A message from us! 
Kinky Lemur Games  is new studio and we always seek to create  the best we can.  From day 1 until today we  are working really hard to make this game live. Today we see that ,  our first public release should be delayed for a moment  because of the opening cutscene is not ready to show you.  The rest of the level is almost ready but since we want to show you our best, we had a decision to delay  of the game release.

It has been about 3 month that we have started  on the project and  we have a good progress. We have done the first testing session and get the feedbacks. The public demo is on the way.

THE FIRST TESTING SESSION IS OVER- THANK YOU FOR PLAYING! 

It is well-known for who is following this tread; We were  ( and will be) very transparent about anything with game related.   From day 1, we always tried to share the updates in this tread.  And the project became more "real" step by step, day by day.  We promised that we will release an demo in 3 months and with 10 days delay we've made it!  

The testing pre-demo version is released and we have showed the game with the community.  To be honest , the first touch was really good and promising for  the new releases.  Over 50  people have played the game , we have got feedbacks and bug reports.  

We have been working on bugs about 2 days and we are very close to release a fixed and improved version of the game ; 

Here is a list what we added or improved ;

* Execution ; Astarte can perform execution when the enemy has low health 

*Assassination : Astarte can assassinate from behind of enemy 

*Attacks from the behind cause more damage : Any attack can cause more damage if it is performed from the behind 

*Cosmetic improvements 

*Bug Fixes 

Known Issues: 

* Save system might be unstable for the activated  items in the game

* After opening Inventory, the Hud elements' size might be bigger 

*Combat music might be respawned and overlap with other musics

*However game can be played with gamepad, the icons can not been seen yet 

*Duration icon for consumables is visible even when cutscene is playing. 

THE DEMO IS LIVE 

Hello Kinky Lemurs! 

We are very happy to announce that we have released an patch for the game and we are keeping go on to improve the game.   Improvements:  

* Gamepad is active at the starting menu 

*Astarte has a better view at the customization menu

*We collaborated execution and Melee Frenzy ; now Astarte can perform a quick execution after killing some enemies and it gains health and stamina 

*We have fixed the voice sounds with the subtitles. 

* Better post process effect, better colors implemented

*Input Options is added to the Pause Menu

*Bad sizing of the Hud elements 

Known Issues 

* Performing Jump Attack can cause bug when the Melee Frenzy is active

* Bad rotation while jumping

*Camera Issues in tight areas 

* Bad locomotion while bow is equipped

FUTURE PLANS

We  are improving the current level, implementing new features and developing the new level. Yes we have started to build the new map! The Village. Here is a first look from the village.  We love what we are doing but we need help!
