This game use to be free. Now your expecting us to pay for it? I always say something like "This is scummy" or "This is stupid" alot. But I mean it this time when I say that this is complete and other scum.

you can play it online....

But those are old versions

No, the online version is not old. Its just as updated as the download version, which is optional to buy if you feel like supporting the dev for his hard work. You can play it at

realy?!?! Wow then he realy is charging us for a flash game

The online version is not old, updates always release with it.

Pardon the late reply, apparently doesn't send you a notification about new threads by default.

The download version of MaD2 never ever "used to be free", it was always Pay What You Want. The failure to comprehend that distinction, as demonstrated, is the exact reason there is now a price tag on the updated version.

You can read all about it in the release writeup.

As mentioned in the FAQ:

1) You can buy the new edition, if:

- You want the latest version of the game, with all future updates included.
- You want to support the game, and its future development and updates.
- You want to play the game locally (and fully offline if you so wish.)
- You want to leverage native flash players for potentially better performance.

2) You can play the Base Edition, which is the exact same version as the previous "free" one.
3) You can play on Kongregate, just like before.
