In the beginning of the core rules, it states there should be information for solo play near the end of the guide, but this section is nonexistent. I was wondering if this was going to be added at a later date or if this was a discrepancy between uploaded versions?

That's going to be added at a later date. The game is still in development and I'm focusing on getting all the content for the core two player game finished first.
