I'm thinking about...

I have a lot of games I have made, and I'm wondering if I really should upload them to itch.io. When you upload something, people are going to steal the files and call it theirs...but. I  still don't know if I should for other reasons, like, I may be overwhelmed by all the update requests.

If something like that happens, just point it out, and our admins will take it down. But people seldom do it. And if your games become popular enough that you'll be overwhelmed with update requests, hey, it means you're successful.

I have heard about some really great visual artist that had their artwork copied. So it can happen. But you need to be really, really good for people to bother stealing your stuff. I had one of my posters stolen once. The thief took that big-ass A1 poster down from inside the cinema!

A suggestion: add your name somewhere inside the game. Then even if someone steals it, you'll still get credit!
