Sometimes I miss when a new game is posted. Is there a way to subscribe to a genre or something so I can get notifications when a new game is published? I like to stay on top of things you see.

Yes, actually. Just add ".xml" to the end of any listing's URL, such as https://itch.io/games.xml -- then you can subscribe with any newsfeed reader.

^ Using a feed reader works, but I do think that we should have something in our site to let you do it. Right now you can follow developers and new games they release will appear on the top of your homepage. 

As for following tags, we want to do that as part of updates your game library page. Not sure when we'll be working on that yet though.
