Missing the exe but have the rest of the files.

So i downloaded a game on here but last time i launched it the exe was missing but i have the rest.This is after HOURS of progress so help would be really appreciated

So... what game was it, and why do you think this has anything to do with itch.io? Sounds like the file was deleted accidentally. Could be your antivirus. Try getting it from the game archive again?

I figured out a little while ago and fixed my antivirus but I still don't know how to get my progress back once it's done downloading

I don't know. Maybe you could just get the missing files from the archive, instead of unpacking the whole game again?
