Steam release Locked

I understand that there won't be a steam version. But... may you think about placing it to some platform with auto update? The worst thing in ichio (at less for my knowledge) is that you only can update the games manually and you don't even know when there're new updates.

heres where i tell you of the itch.io app which does that exact thing you just asked for just search it up on google to find where it is since itch hid it quite well,it auto updates the game for you and stuff

they seem to sweep it under the carpet but do know you will have to occasionally play and save your game after leaving and re-entering a zone to keep your save files from becoming obsoleted though

forgot to mention this but the app also lets you rewind your version to earlier versions so if you need to revert to a specific version to fix save you can.

yes itch app is awesome.
Plus. if u see any "clearn reinstall needed" in update log. u still need to do it even with itch app.

Well if not steam then meybe try with GoG they are way more easygoing when it comes to content and they help with releasing games even if they seem disturbing they are going to distribute that one controversial game that steam rejected due to it being very disturbing and so but it is about to be released or already was on gog. I would be far more interested in buying it then for sure. Know gog is not a steam but they are second best in game distribution, so why not to try.

gog doesn't allow new nsfw titles on its platform it is just honoring the contracts of whatever it has added already
