10 months ago I published my first (*) game called Dreamland to Itch.io back then I set myself pretty low expectations for it, the whole website and its community was new to me and I did not know how they would react to my game. I felt a little insecure about whether it would meet the quality expectations set by the community or if people would even consider it worth their time. Luckily those thoughts turned out to be false pretty soon when my game got its first views and downloads and some nice feedback. Shortly after a YouTuber called "Slawek" (Channel link down below) who made a video about my game commented on it . Something about the way he presented it, encouraged me to spend more time on game development. Seeing people react to something I made on my own is what made me extremely proud and ever since then I've been developing and uploading games to Itch.io.
A few days ago I published my most recent game Sleep tight and once again I had pretty low expectations for it as it was quite short and rushed unlike its predecessor Dreamland Genesis due to my time being limited from now on as summer holidays are over. Lucky to say I once again was wrong.  The game had the best start I could imagine and has become my second most popular game yet. As of today it has reached nearly 700 downloads and more than twice as much views in just 4 days which is simply amazing. The reason I am writing this post is to say thank you. Thanks to everyone who downloaded my game, commented on it, gave constructive criticism, thanks to everyone who left a rating and thanks to  my 67 followers.  A year ago I could've never imagined this to happen and words cannot describe how epic it is to develop games, get people to react to it and interact with this amazing community!
