[3D Modeller][3D Animator][Art][Visionary] Looking to form ongoing collaborative partnership - 'Studio'

Me: Someone who can program (have done it professionally for a LONG time), understands project management, game design, and running a company (making games to any standard really is like operating a business).
I have a number of game development projects either specced out, or in varying states of development.

I *can* make 3D graphics, and I can animate them too... but honestly, for the games I have planned, it is just too much work for a one person team.
That is why I am looking for a partner for these endeavours.

I know that together with the right person, so much could be accomplished.
The intention is to establish a good working relationship,  and start producing entertaining games that people enjoy - some free and some paid for.
Initially, any money made would be considered [revshare].
The ultimate goal though, (and once we know we work well together), would be to form a company and make the 'studio' official.
So more than [revshare] you could eventually own a stake in whatever we produced; Full games, components, modules, even IP.
And you would have a say in any hirings, purchases, etc, etc.
I know what working for A-Holes is like, and there are plenty of them in any industry; You slave away turning out your best work like an obedient puppy, while someone else ends up taking all the credit/reward.
Not any more - working with me means a commitment to your personal development that extends further than just your portfolio.

So what exactly am I looking for from you?

  • Interest/love of/fascination with Games - Playing them, creating them, their mechanics, good ones, bad ones, (ugly ones)... the whole thing. Video games is kinda implied, but a knowledge of traditional board/card/and table-top games never hurt anyone either.
  • Ability to create and animate 3D models - The specific software you prefer is not really relevant. Now this is the thing, you *might* be awesome at this, that's great, lets go! But maybe you aren't - yet. And that *could* be OK too, as long as you are DEDICATED.  Passion can lead to competency, but not necessarily the other way around. Which leads right into the next point...
  • Desire to be *more*; A better artist, designer, modeller. More creative, better organised.
  • Able to make yourself work to reasonable timescales - lets face it, you are where you are, and I'm right here. Remote working CAN be successful, but only if you have the ability to focus on what needs to be done, and the commitment to see it through.
  • Interesting - That doesn't mean I expect you to have crossed the Sahara on a skateboard with only a single can of redbull for refreshment, while playing a kazoo with your armpit... But it would be nice if you were interested in *something*, because ultimately this is where further games ideas are going to come from. Plus it's nice to have working conversations that go beyond:
'sup? 'sup. done the work? yeah. sweet.

So, I thank you for taking the time to read all the way through this (rather lengthy) tract of text.
If it is not of interest to you, then I bid you farewell, and offer you my sincerest wishes for a great future.
But if you are interested, get in touch and we can discuss things further.

UPDATE: Despite quite a bit of interest in this post, the majority of people who contacted me are mostly interested in hobby projects with very little involvement, or creating fan related things for existing unlicensed IPs.

While I am in no way putting these types of things down, I would like to make it clear that this is NOT what I am looking for. I am only  interested in creating original works; new IPs, our own worlds and new storylines/characters.

Regarding time commitments: I understand that many people are involved in full time work, and for them such a venture would have to exist around their other financial commitments, which is not a problem. But a commitment of more than 'one or two hours a week...maybe' is definitely required.

If you are still interested after this clarification, please contact me by discord or email, and feel free to ask any questions.
