As the title specifies, I recorded over 5 contiguous minutes of rain and thunder today during the storms in Austin, TX. I acquired a Rode NT1-A microphone last week and wanted to give it a go by recording the ambient sounds of the rainfall and thunder. It is available at https://kytra.itch.io/real-rain-and-thunder-audio in .wav .flac and .ogg formats.

Recorded in Cubase 11 with a Focusrite 4i4 interface driving a Rode NT1-A microphone.
A short sample of the audio is available here:

If you use it, please drop me a comment and let me know how it worked for you!
Sincerely,
@seafoamselene
