odd...when i first play the update 3.0, i got through the game booth, but afterwards, i am unable to move anywhere else. I can still play the shootimg booth, but i cant visit the funhouse

I just want to say, that it is quite a good game and all. And I'm not really one that's even into parasites and insects and stuff, yet you've gotten me intrigued to play this. ^^
If there was one adjustment that I would make to this though, it'd be the first minigame that you do in this. -w-# Nearly smashed my computer because the reticle wouldn't stay still for squat. I mean, I understand the mechanic behind it with the slight "Carnival games are always rigged" kinda cliche if you were intending for that, but just trying to get to 50 pts has to have been by far more infuriating than playing Call of Duty against a bunch of hackers (Literally, seeing through walls + aim botting)
But all in all, I like it, it's pretty subtle and I can definitely see a fun interactive game from this. I hope that you keep up the great work and keep us all up to date for what's to come!

Hey just played the latest update! ^w^ and boy that anal millipede addition is hot as hell!
that pull-out minigame for the anal bug is pretty difficult i gotta say, but not impossible. it took me about 4 tries before i figured out how to move the mouse to pull properly without just making the guy cum and let the anal-pede slip back down. it's definitely possible but not easy, and i doubt a new player to the game would figure out exactly how to succeed without re-loading saves and trying again multiple times to get the movement right. if more people have issues with beating it than just me, i'd suggest simply increasing the timer before the bug slips out of the player's hands, give them more time to figure out how to wiggle the mouse to pull out in time with the player character's lust.

oh and i found a weird glitch, the "Pull it out!" minigame for the Funhouse Dick-millipede seems to be glitched in the newest version and stuck on the final part/image where the bug has already been pulled all the way out, rather than the gradual pull-out that takes a few sequences of the quick-time game.
when you try to pull it out, it activates the minigame , but while the click-target is traveling across the bottom of the window, the game plays the entire pulling-out animation regardless of whether you accurately hit it or miss it. if you hit it properly the game reads the text for pulling it out after just ONE QT game, skips the other three-or-so. if you miss it the game reverts to the picture-sequence of the millipede crawling down into your dick as usual.
tried it on two saved files and a couple times on brand-new games from scratch, just to make sure, and it happened every time on the newest version.
double-checked the scene by booting up the previous version of the game and re-playing the dick-pull-out game, and it worked properly with no scene-skipping or glitches, so this only appears to be happening to me in the most recent version

oh and one more thing, is there a way to delete a save for this game? i'm kinda building up quite a few of them where i save in front of something to test it out or just to re-play scenes i find to be extra spicy. but especially as the game updates and seems to carry saves over from the earlier versions, deleting a few of the redundant save files will definitely come in handy! ^w^

Thank you for the feedback, I'll probably tune the minigame some. It seems like people are getting it, but know I need some extra hints to show how the game works.
Turns out I had the AnimatedSprite used for that seen set to the wrong frame. I ported over a bunch of assets to a new unified system and accidentally messed up some settings. It's an easy fix and I'll post a fix to Patreon.
Currently, you have to access your "%APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\Chitinous Carnival" folder to delete saves. Updating the save screen is one of the "boring, but important" changes I want to work on.

i'll re-download the fixed version from your patreon when i get the chance, i really love that scene and actually i love ALL the minigames for trying to pull the bugs out or brush them off, and i LOVE the thing you mentioned in your devlog where there might be instances where the various parasites might randomly jump you or try to infest you from your inventory!
especially where right now if the player pulls out at the funhouse and successfully removes the millipede from his dick, he then becomes too cautious to want to open the bag of bugs and the millipede ball. having to make him need to fight off random infestations as he continues through the carnival in a quest to use all his tickets without getting infested and corrupted into lusty hedonism sounds like soo much fun! ^w^
i really like the idea of stuff happening to the Player's friend as well <3 why be the only one having fun turning into a living brood-incubator for various sex-bug infestations when you can drag a friend down with you too! ^w^ <3

the Foodtrucks are currently under development/no content available yet in all the updates/versions of the game ive played so far. the next updates i remember Quan was talking about are gonna be to the core infestation mechanics of the game, and adding another carnival game other than quickshot, so im not sure when the other areas like the food trucks and the boardwalk/pier are gonna see more content.
can't wait to see what kinda kinky sexyness he comes up with for those areas <3 im hoping those food stalls will fill the player's belly with something more than just food if you pick the right meal option <3 <3 <3

Nah, there is no hiatus (Tho, I have taken some breaks with other projects). I am currently working on a new content thus month. I don't know when the next public update will role out. But, when it does it'll be a big one.
Also, I got derailed by job searching. It basically ate up all my development plans for Winter 2021. However, Spring is here, the days are getting longer, and my energy and mood are impoving.

This is very gross and horrifying to me, but I didn't come here to kink shame, I came here to share that this game has made me realize I love this concept in a horror or action game, because you are so helpless with insects, you have an insect in your cock and trying to get into your urethra and there's not much you can do at that point, realistically good luck grabbing a worm without crushing it or letting it slip away or quickly go all the way inside in one go. Or with spiders, you are outnumbered and it's horrifying. Can even be in the mouth too or the ears. Insects are this threat that unlike others, can do a lot of things to any part of your body and you are helpless
Even if this grosses me out, I want to follow the development of this game, it's just the first time I had heard of something like this and I like it. Usually when I find a fetish I dislike, I want to learn to like it, it's just something I like to do. I tried to like this, but I can't, I just have too many bad memories about insects, if I didn't have those memories I could probably enjoy it the same way many people did. I do like some giant insects though (like, bigger in height than a human being)
