currently there isnt any kind of infestation that stays in the dick/urethrea. the three that are available travel to the balls, ass/guts, and bladder(or is it prostate?) so while there is an X-ray for the penis, there isnt anything actively wiggling around inside there while you're walking about, beyond the initial infestation and the bathroom expulsion scenes that is.

the ball and bladder infestations certainly enter through the player's penis, but they both nest further inside. i'm honestly looking forward to anything Quanzillan is planning for something that actively stays and crawls around inside the urethra as it multiplies and dangles from the tip <3 <3 but that remains to be seen as his last dev post makes it sound like he's gonna be focusing on doing overhauls on the game mechanics and storyline for the time being. so might be a wait before theres more new content

Just wanted to give a quick update. For those that follow me on twitter or hang around the discord, you have likely already heard the news. Starting November, I'll be working on Chitinous Carnival (and art in general) full-time for the next few month.

I've decided to leave my chaotic day job. It has been draining me physically and mentally. Furthermore, it made doing any sort of creative work challenging. Moreover, I've become dissatisfied slaving away for a startup that's starting to feel like a sinking ship.

So given my current financial standings, I'm taking the opportunity to work for myself. I have no idea how long this will last before I need to find something again. However, that's a bridge I'll cross when (or if) I get to it. Thanks for all your support an patience, - Quan Zillan

According to the occasional twitter post, they are still actively working on it, but it does seem that they have other commissions and IRL things taking up most of their time. Currently there seems to be no known time estimate for the next release.
