We'll keep this post up-to-date with known issues and their potential resolutions. If you have any issues running the game or encounter problems during gameplay, let us know here - if you have a crash, the game produces an error.txt file which would help in diagnosing it, so please post some of the error.txt text with your post if that happens, thanks! Global issues: Some machines seem to have issues when they don't have an OpenGL 2.0 compatible video card driver. This is mostly an issue on laptops with on-board graphics. No solution currently. The launcher attempts to use the packaged JRE, but you can also try to replace it with a JRE you've downloaded to fix certain issues. The JRE that comes with JDK 11.0.12 should work with ToA. If you're seeing any crash logs that contain the words "reflect" or "serialization", this may be the problem. If you're seeing a Bytebuffer error or any other error when hitting the "Save/Load" button, this is the problem. Running the application (.exe file on Windows, Tales Of Androgyny Mac.app on Mac, TalesOfAndrogyny on Linux) is the best solution to this problem! A common issue is that the download simply doesn't finish or is corrupted. Make sure that the .rar or .zip or .apk file you download is the same filesize listed on the download (this will change over time, but currently they're around 1.2-1.4 GB) There's a font issue that causes a crash depending on which font you have selected - I need to track down exactly what's causing it, but we will be finalizing font selection so this issue will go away on its own. Modifying your mana values with save editing can lead to a crash when you try to enter battle Android specific issues: When trying to install the app on Android, make sure you have plenty of storage space on your device, or it will fail. Using a file/app manager can help with installation Android crashes are most often due to OOM (Out of Memory) errors. While we'll try to optimize memory usage on android, if you're frequently seeing crashes, there's not much that can be done for it, and your phone is below the minimum specs. If there are any minor logical bugs, display errors, continuity errors, typos, etc., we'll try to immediately fix them, but any that are extant in the public version we'll try to keep here. If you see one that's not listed below, please let us know! Particular things to watch out for are softlocks and sex acts that aren't recorded (not properly removing the associated virginity, for instance) If you have an issue that is ruining your savefile, like a softlock, please send us the save file (majalis.patreon@gmail.com) and we will not only fix the associated softlock on future versions, but we will send you the fixed save file so that you can progress on the current version with that save file! We'll keep this up to date with any crash bugs or odd behavior that we're unable to reproduce/fix in the following version. Whenever I try to open the exe, this error message always pops up. If there's an easy fix to this please let me know!

First time game crashed, was on ironman mode and probably triggered the crash by attempting to hold skip option too quickly after loading in from map.

hey tried to download the windows and the jar versions and both just wouldn't let me do anything with it, it looked like a white box in downloads and when I clicked it tried to bring me to the windows store :/ and with java this happens

Only been playing the update for a short minute, but here's what I've found so far

1: Centaur Cowgirl Scene is not unlocking after viewing it.

2: Always uses chastity version, regardless of actual chastity.

3: Probably not a bug, but the unicorn also has the dialog prompt for the Cowgirl Scene, but doesn't have a picture for it, and doesn't even use the normal one.

4: Maybe a bug(?) and an older one at that, but the centaur oral scene has an unused chastity sprite I believe, be neat if that was fixed but if it was intentionally scrapped it's fine.

5: Not even a bug, just a suggestion. Dullahan Anal X-ray someday? Don't think I forgot what you took from us!

When i try to download the WIN file, it just downloads something that looks like a note, and when i double click it, it asks me where i want to open it? And when i extract it to a ZIP file, it wont let me access it for some reason

First 7 of these would work if this guy

Changed default value to 5 manually - all started working in game.

So basically somehow charisma calculations do not apply to aforementioned techniques.
Technique$TechniquePayload.class init method

This is value if technique considered not spell, not "teasing", not melee, and not ranged one.
In working scenario this number should not apply, but it does for me, so charisma/4 calculations do not apply for some reason.

P.S. Sry if i'm not clear, don't speak english, still learning (hence a lot of edits).

I'm not sure exactly what the issue is here, but we'll be doing some logical passes on that Technique code so that it's clearer what's happening - right now it's difficult to parse what's happening with different types of Techniques.

Found out why exactly is that some time ago.

So any technique that doesn't have opponent seducing component will have default power of 0. Thats why changing default worked for me.

Found out why stamina destruction doesn't work.

Guys, i absolutely love the game and value your work, much so I got as far as looking at the code myself, these bugs could be fixed and i can't fix em from my side, because removing and tweaking Java Virtual Machine instructions is not gonna solve anything, it just helps me understand game logic.

I can't understand if the issue is being worked on or not, that's why i'm doing this in the first place.

Trying to download through the itch.io launcher now doesn't update the game. I sent two reports in about it. But thought I'd message here instead. It's just not unpacking right in the itchio launcher and it worked perfectly before.

Looked into it further, noticed that the reason crankmaster does not increase is likely because during these scenarios, even if triggered multiple times, handjob count stays at 1 for sexual experiences. Due to this, crankmaster can't increase like it can in the brothel outside of the brothel. Making it so that these increase the sexual experience counter for each occurance would fix this.

Not really a bug, but as a person with several intersex friends, I'd change the language in your description to 'intersex characters' rather than 'hermaphroditic characters'. This is more humanising, and requested by the intersex community :)

Ah, I used "hermaphroditic" because I meant actual theoretical hermaphroditic characters - snail-people and such, but since there aren't really any anyway, I clarified what was meant. Thanks for the feedback!

Value of upgrade is never more that 1 so it never works. There should be comparison with zero.

Hello Dev! Great game, but lots of us are having trouble installing directly via the itch-app, mostly because of the way itch handles .rar files, especially on Linux.
Itch officially recommends uploading via Butler: https://itch.io/docs/butler

Alternatively, using .7z instead of .rar may sidestep some of these issues for many.

I have tried various methods to convert it to a zipped folder, but none of them worked. Could you please advise me on how to solve this problem?
