i have recently played mordheim and think you should totally take a look at the clever way they have created the city and the scenarios, it took me many gameplays to get to know how it really is different every time

they have taken the best of the 2 worlds, they have designed some interesting scenarios and then every building, every door and every passage have 3 different states, open, destroyed and another one i cant remember, but im sure that you could learn something to make clubs more appealing and even random farther than a 2D map built in 3D square rooms
