Hey, sorry if this is in the wrong channel or whatever but I was wondering how would you host a novetus server with heroku? Thanks.

herok...what?

heroku is a cloud hosting service that can be used for servers, discord bots, etc.

You cant.

If you really want a cloud-based novetus server (for whatever reason) get a windows VPS but be prepared to pay for it. You can also use a cheaper linux vps if you want to suffer with wine.  To be honest just host it on your own machine.

thanks, i'll look into it

also about that last sentence, me and my friends are doing this and it never works: i've port forwarded (both on my wifi and my computer), still doesn't work

If you cant get port fowarding to work use UPnP or Hamachi

We got it working in the end lol, it was a problem with using the port "7777" so we used 25565 and it worked fine. We were using upnp before btw

cool.
