I'm testing Cosmic Everyday on a real Ubuntu 16 machine. For now, it has the following platform-specific issues:

  • Sometimes it requires a key/password for encoding its database or so. But it shouldn't.
  • Sometimes auto-launch can't be set up correctly. It is mainly dependent on the distro type. Cosmic Everyday might tell that auto-launch is active when it isn't, and vice versa.
  • If you close the window, you will be able to reopen it with global hotkey only (ctrl + shift + e), but not via tray icon. (solved)

Please report here if you see something unexpented that is not included in this list.

hi I'm running ArchLabs and tried installing both the x64 and x86 version via itch.io client and neither of them launch :(

here's the error message I get:

An error occurred while launching Cosmic Everyday
Error: spawn /home/comrade/.config/itch/apps/Cosmic Everyday/setup.sh ENOENT

(works great on Windows 10 though!)

For now, try navigating to that folder and launch CosmicEveryday by typing `./CosmicEveryday` in your console.
