Hey

I've been using itch more and more over the past couple years. This is my first post though! I've been wondering if anyone has any suggestions for reading about/hearing about new indie projects? My main issue I've found is that i do not use social media at all. I'm on a couple discords, and I get some info that way, but I do not read them all day and it's very easy to miss things. I was thinking it would be so awesome if there was just a website or newsletter or something like that I could look through. Especially something that might focus on developers too, not just games. I use the browse function on itch and follow developers I like, but I feel like I am missing being "connected" with what's going and there is, frankly, no way in hell I'm making a twitter account :)

thanks for any suggestions you may have!

I would recommend social media to connect with other devs, but since you are not that into it, I guess the forum on itch.io and Reddit (just search indie game, there should be a few subreddits you can join) will do fine as well. Not sure if there's a website for all the information, if there is, definitely let me know as well haha! Just work on any projects you like, I'm sure most of us just want genuine ideas with passion from people, the type or elements of it don't really matter.

IndieDB is a good website for everything you're looking for. Also consider Gamejolt.

awesome thanks!

If you're into discord the Indie World Order discord is pretty awesome, also agree with reddit, Game Jolt and IndieDB!
