ABOUT THE PROJECT
Regain Earth: First Strike is my solo indie game project. I appreciate any feedback, suggestions, wishes for my game. You can play the demo of the game for free. Because the game uses Steam Backend (for Leaderboards, Achievements and Multiplayer-Match-Making) you will get a steam key if you request a key here on itch.io. The key is for the demo (Steam calls it "playtest" version) of my game.
ABOUT MY WORK ON THIS GAME
I really worked my ass off for my game, now already 3 years, to create something that can be called a game. Through a (small) success on TikTok, now already 2,000 people have played my game demo. And the feedback is consistently good, though I think most also evaluate that I'm solo dev and can't compare my game to Fortnite, Warzone, PUPG or Apex Legends.
The game is my first game project at all, and I also work solo on it.
I use many assets from online asset stores, because I could not also make all textures and models myself, things like gameplay design, menu (UI), nearly-bug-free gameplay and especially that everything works in multiplayer (multiplayer replication) and that the assets from the stores are tried, fine-tuned and integrated into the game, is for me alone already extremely much work. So, I hope you forgive me, if you see assets in the video that you know from other games.
ABOUT THIS GAME
Regain Earth: First Strike is a third-person Sci-Fi shooter game. Take the tough challenge of surviving waves of increasingly difficult evil mutants and robots!
Grab a friend or two to hunt and slay them all. Crush up to 6 enemy waves with help of randomly dropped weapons and enhancements. Achieve the top of the leaderboard! Earn rewards to unlock new game features and new maps!
