So, I really enjoyed what you have so far. When I first started playing things seemed a wee bit clunky, but that's nothing out of the ordinary for an early alpha! As I played more, and picked up a little bit of the story I started getting sucked into the world more and more, and also started noticing how gorgeous the scenery and backgrounds are in the game.

I encountered a couple of bugs, like when I walked right into the ramp near the beginning and then when I managed to get stuck in a rock (classic Mikey, breaking the game!), but on the whole everything ran pretty darn well!

The language I found to be very intriguing. To me it came across as Scottish-esque (I'm nigh-on Scottish myself too), but your write-up about it really was interesting!

I didn't quite make it to the end of the demo though, I think I played myself to death trying to get past everything, but I'm really looking forward to seeing more of this! Keep up the great work =)

Hi there, thanks for posting. That bug of you getting stuck in a rock is a very nasty one. I thought nobody would be able to reach that space but I was wrong, so that's definitely something we have to fix! I also noted a few more issues while you were playing, like a part where the girl couldn't really jump and she fell into the goo at the bottom. We're trying out something to see if we fix the issue and I'll keep you all updated on that.

Also thanks for the comments about the language. An inspiration was from The Clockwork Orange, but not in the language itself, but rather the use of different words to say things, and as a matter of fact, when I was writing the dialogues (I'm the story guy), I kept thinking in my head that they would sound Scottish-ish or Irish-ish. I even spent a lot of time watching random Scottish and Irish people on youtube, to get some sense of that, heh (something like this: "hey what are you doing?" "research for the project" "so why are you watching that girl's makeup tutorial?" "research..."). So I am glad you mention that.
