Hello, I have a game in early stages, and I was considering releasing an Alpha, mostly in order to get feedback about it.
If I release an Alpha, what will happen when I release a full game? will it be considered as a regular release and appear in the recent games/Have the same chances to go in the front pages? Or will it be considered as an update to an already existing game, and the game will stay in the old sections of the website.
I was also wondering if the amount of downloads and views during the Alpha phase matter to how popular itch considers the game in release.
