Help Moira host a tea party in this cute nonlinear adventure with point-and-click puzzles!

Chat with your fluffy guests, find yummy food ingredients, and navigate a colourful magical world...

Every mistake action counts! So try to be a good child, will you?

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the full version of Butterfly Tea's devlog. Here, you can find boring dev stuffs and sneak peeks.

The demo, a small segment altered to be played as a standalone, has been released a couple of days ago. If you think the puzzles from the demo will be solved in similar ways... well, you're not wrong... but you're not actually going to be a good child, right?

Now, without further ado, what will the full version contain?

  • 12 endings (so far), which are different from the 5 demo ones
  • > 11 rooms/locations to explore
  • 3 mini-games (so far), including the one from the demo
  • puzzles that seem the same as the ones in the demo
  • the real plot
  • more puzzles
  • more interactions with characters
  • an extras section
  • GUI optimized for mobile
  • about 5 times more gameplay time (probably even more if you try to get all endings)

What have I done so far?

  • optimized GUI (90% done)
  • extras (20% done)
  • mini-game 1 (99% done -> might modify it)
  • mini-game 2 (5% done)
  • mini-game 3 (0% done)
  • rooms (10% done -> need to modify demo ones)
  • puzzle design (20% done)
  • plot outline (99% done -> might expand on it)
  • main gameplay (20% done)
  • secret route (5% done)

I'll make a summary at the end of this month. For now, I'm making daily devlogs for a game jam.

Also, in terms of audience engagement, I've just hosted an event. Hopefully, this can create more interactions between us and even provide some insights about my game.
