How's the old and new game logically treated on itch.io?

I knew that this game https://greyaliengames.itch.io/shadowhand is published maybe a  year ago (correct me if I'm wrong), but when I checked on the game, the info shows 6 days ago. Also for my own game https://guruhebat.itch.io/subject-113, it shows 4 days ago, but in reality, I upload the 1st game file a week ago. And the last question, which one is prioritized? paid games or free games? Thank you.

Are you sure the game was published on Itch a year ago?

The published date should count from the moment your project goes live, not related to uploaded files. This might potentially be affected by a few days, because some projects need to be approved by an admin (if they are paid, or they are from a new developer etc). Not sure if that’s what you see there.

And the last question, which one is prioritized? paid games or free games?

To my knowledge, there’s no prioritization.

Ooo.. I see, thank you for the explanations.
