Unable to save project

Hi, Just purchased this program. It has great potential. I'm running it from MX-Linux 19.3. However, the program is totally unable to save any project other than the first help file (after the lock is turned off). Neither save or save as actually function. Nothing happens when choosing 'Save as'. Autosave simply log its unable to save at '/'. First I imagined it was something about permissions but that is not the issue at all. This is a rather BIG bug :-/

Hmm, I see. Thank you very much for purchasing the program, but I'm very sorry for the inconvenience! I've never heard of this particular issue before...

I'm wondering if this is happening because it can't open a file browser. Internally, I'm using the zenity Golang package to handle opening file browsers, which requires `zenity`, `qarma`, or `matedialog`.

Does MX-Linux come with any of those installed? If not, is it possible to install it and see if that resolves the issue? Also, which desktop or window manager are you using? KDE?

Hello! Wow that was a fast reply. Well then... The version of MX I'm using has XFCE as a desktop. I have checked the file browser depends you listed. Per default "yad" version 0.40.0-1 is installed (doing what I think is the same as what you listed. qarma and Matedialog is not even available to me. I do however have zenity v 3.30.0-2 available in the repositories. Ok, after som testing I installed zenity and zenity common and it now opens file save dialogue. Great! But It still will not stop presenting the settings window despite splash (which is what you mean I think) set to off in settings. But this is a minor thing, not compared not being able to save. Beyond this I really like the program and what you are trying to do here. I would however like to see tasks which could be repeated after completion on various times; hourly, dayly, weekly, monthly, yearly and so on. I would not mind a few more types of lines and arrows either. This way you could use the program to make flowcharts. Maybe color them too perhaps? Thanks for the help. The program is now functional in my view. Hope for lots of cool upgrades in the future. Also please do not stop supporting this version outside of Steam, which sadly happens too often (with games). I like to have a portable version of the program on a usb-stick.
Well, well, after some more testing I finally found the checkbox on the settings windows which prevents it from loading in the beginning. I have no clue why I did not see this from the start. But there you go. So all in all it seems to be working fine now. :-D

Thanks.
Found my question answered here:
Why am I "unable to save my project"?

Installing Zenity worked for me.

I never used Masterplan, cause i got no Masterplan, but at the little moment I had a Masterplan I wasn't able to save it! :D
