Gotta say the early version of this game is very solid. Its got that expected roguelike look and feel, but with a slowed down combat that involves less action and more strategy. Each group of monsters if going to behave differently and you have to be prepared for that. Which was a nice touch.
My only thought or piece of feedback was that the transition from shooting to rolling feels a bit janky. Like it could be smoother and quicker to finishing shooting and then dodge roll out of the way. Maybe the roll could override the bow string pull. That said its entirely possible that its an intentional consideration when engaging in a fight, forcing you to think about your timing constantly. Im not 100% on that though.
Otherwise I thought this was good. The art was on point and fits together well, all the mobs felt unique, and it had some story tidbits strewn about.
