Do people use the itch.io app as an actual web browser?

I want to know if it's actually meant to be used as a web browser.

No, it's meant to be used to browse and play itch.io games only.

But people, being people, might do strange things... who knows.

In the future we’ll be updating the app to only load pages that are on the itch.io domain. I don’t recommend using it as a general purpose web browser.

I don’t think you should do that, what if the user wants to go to the developer’s home page(from their itchio profile page) and the app just blocks the link? Like how Steam also allow the opening of external links as long as the external link was clicked somewhere within the steam domain, can we do something similar with the itch app?
