License?

Hi,

I don't see anywhere a clear license for the use of the assets created with Asset Forge. I would like for the license to be included in the package please. Without one we cannot use anything created with it.

Thanks

Very true. It 100% needs this.

Version 1.1.0 will include a license file for your creations, basically it comes down to; the included blocks are public domain licensed and thus models created using these blocks are too. You're free to use them in any sort of project.

I'd like to get clarification. Are you saying that because we use your public domain block, the resulting shape will also have to be public domain?

That is definitely not the definition of public domain.  It is not because a red and blue pixel are in public domain, that the combination of both in a certain shape is.

You should (and I am not even sure you could do otherwise legally) accept creations to have their own license, including the possibility that the creation cannot be used by someone else without permission.

Sorry, that's what I meant. Because the building blocks are public domain a creation using the blocks would be too, unless you decide otherwise on your own creation. I'll always compare blocks in Asset Forge to brushes in Photoshop, the art you create isn't Adobe's (me) property but your own.

thanks Kenney for clarifying!
