THE UNIT DOCUMENTATION IS NOT UP TO DATE AND IS INCOMPLETE 

ULTRADB IS INTENDED TO BE PLAYED WITH EACH HUMAN PLAYER STARTING WITH AT LEAST 3 CITIES AND 14+ BUY POINTS FOR PURCHASING A STARTING ARMY. 

THERE IS NO NEED TO JACK UP UNIT BUILD SPEED IF YOU START WITH THESE SETTINGS. DO NOT SET THE UNIT PRODUCTION HANDICAP LESS THAN 85 UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. 

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PLAY WITH AT LEAST THESE SETTINGS, DON'T PLAY ULTRADB.

* Recon Drones(RD/YD) and Stealth Drones(RX/YZ) now have a "packed" form.  They can no longer land directly on Trucks when unpacked.  They consume 0 Drain when packed.

Advanced Recon Drone (RV/YC)
* Build 12/11, Speed 9, Turns aloft 36, Drain 2 (0 packed)
* Spotting: Ground 8, Air 7
* Air search radar equal to Advanced Fighter (Can spot stealth aircraft at a range of 2)
* Can spot Commandos and Dug-In Commandos when adjacent to them.
* Classified as "High Altitude" flyer so cannot be fired upon by AA Brigades, Gunboats, Surfaced Subs, or Fortifications
* Can carry 1x Anti-Ship Missile (VS)
* Can be carried by all types of Aircraft Carrier (EC, LC, AC).  Cannot be carried by Amphibious Assult Ship(AM)
* Can be aerially refueled.
(Especially useful for spotting Commandos, SAM batteries, stealth aircraft, and screening ships)

- build time increased from 15/14 up to 16/15

Light Armor(AL):
+ ranged fire range increased from 1 up to 2

Recon Drone(RD), Stealth Drone(RX):
+ ground spotting range increased from 5 up to 6.

Sea Helicopter(SH):
+ can carry 1x Anti-Ship Missile(VG) again
- cannot drop Sonar Buoys(SY)

Sea Helicopter: Sonar Deployed(KE):
- can no longer pick up Sonar Buoy(SY) (can still drop 1 it's carrying)
- cannot launch Anti-Ship Missile(VS)

Attack Helicopter(AH):
- build time increased from 14/13 up to 16/15

Fighter(FI), Fighter Bomber(FB):
+ defense vs Anti-Aircraft missles and SAMs incrased by +5%

Heavy Air Transport(HT):
+ build time lowered from 25/23 down to 23/21

Gunboat(GB):
+ build time lowered from 15/14 down to 14/13
- can no longer carry Light Infantry(LI)

Corvette(CV):
++ can carry 2x Anti-Air Missiles(VA) again.
+ can fire upon "High Altitude" aircraft due to air search radar.
(AF/KF, AW, BA, BO, HT, RV, FA, FI, FN.  Has further -5% to hit penalty.)
- build time increased from 12/11 up to 13/12.

Heavy Cruiser(CR):
+ portage capacity increased from 2 up to 3 (3x small missiles)

Fleet Oiler(OS):
- build time increased from 22/20 up to 23/21

Escort Carrier(EC):
- build time increased from 24/22 up to 26/24

Anti-Air Missile(VA):
+ build time lowered from 8/7 down to 7/6

Supply Train(RS):
+ drain lowered from 1 down to 0

Train(RR):
+ build time lowered from 10/9 down to 9/8
+ Drain lowered from 2 down to 1

Bullet Train(RB):
+ build time lowered from 13/12 down to 12/11
+ speed increased from 8 up to 9
- portage capacity lowered from 9 down to 7

<<< General Changes >>>

* The solo config file was updated to allow placement of buypoint structures on the map and other settings were tweaked to make it more challenging.

* The AI script file UltraAI.eai was updated for the AI to make use of Light Infantry and make it somewhat more aggressive.
(If you're having trouble winning just get an Attack Helicopter into play and the AI will quickly lose because it doesn't know how to build proper air defenses.)

Gunboat(GB):
-- can no longer bombard-capture cities or other structures
(They were making landing craft obsolete)

Fighter Bomber(FB), Helicopter(HE), Attack Helicopter(AH):
- rocket attack odds vs cities lowered by -10%

VTOL Fighter(FV):
+ rocket attacks odds increased by +5% except vs cities
- rocket attacks odds decreased by -5% vs cities

Helicopter(HE):
- build time increased from 15/14 up to 16/15

Attack Helicopter(AH):
- rocket attack odds lowered by -5%
(This is not cumulative with the reduction vs cities)

Hawkeye(HW):
+ build time lowered from 13/12 down to 12/11

Orbital Transport(OT):
+ can now carry moored Gunboats, Corvettes, Frigates, Mine Sweepers, and Seabees.
