Hey folks,
Welcome to the Moonring Community.  I'm Dene Carter, the creator of Moonring, Incoboto, Spellrazor, The Horns and a bunch of other weird things as well as being co-creator of the Fable series on XBox.

Moonring is a game for people who love '80s RPGs, and wish they played the way they remember them. As such, Moonring features a slick interface with automatic note-taking and mapping, along with many quality of life improvements.

The game is still very early, and the main quest doesn't exist quite yet... but it will.

If you decide you want to play a part in this game's journey then I'm delighted to have you and would be interested to hear what would make this game better for you. I'm not adding lasers, Pokemon or FNAF fan creatures, though. That would be silly.

In the meantime, enjoy the ride, and feel free to introduce yourselves so I know who is playing!

- Dene

This looks really cool. Could you update the game? I see it has been updated recently on Steam.

Hello.

First of all, thank you for your work and for making it available to everyone for free.

A few months ago, I discovered this game. I loved it from the very first minutes, but my English is limited, and I find it very difficult to play.

Would a Spanish translation be possible?

If not, is it possible for the text to appear in a separate window?
I ask this because in some games I use an automatic translator, but in Moonring, the problem is that the text doesn't appear in just one place on the screen, as it does in many RPGs. Therefore, the translator can't translate the text correctly, since it works with a grid, and it's impossible to configure that in this game.

Should I improve my English? Yes, of course. But if the game were translated into Spanish, or if there were an option to display the text in a separate window, it would be a great help.

Thank you.

P.S.: Translated with Google. I hope there are no errors.

Hi! Thanks so much for your comment. Unfortunately, I had no idea the game would be as popular as it is, and it was not written with any idea that people would want to play it in anything other than English. There are even English words carved into the terrain, which are clues! It would take me another year to remake it and undo this mistake, so I'm focusing instead on making Moonring 2 undo all the mistakes I made in Moonring 1. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful

nice art direction work, looking forward to play it
