This game was written in a month for the Retro Games Ltd Winter Dev Competition, and is a fully-featured version of Puyo Puyo 2, including scenario mode, 2-player versus mode with optional handicap system, infinite mode, and even a hidden Easter egg.
It was programmed using KickAssembler in 6502 assembly, using the tools Sublime Text, CharPad, SpritePad, GoatTracker and GIMP. This is my biggest game to date since starting programming on the trusty C64 in November last year.
