“Where am I?” “Is the moon a hallucination?” “Can frogs talk?”, “What’s inside a broken TV?” and “Where can I get my next beer?”

It’s “My first ever, super awesome game, what I made from my own brain” AKA “Owl Ridge”

Like the long title suggests, this is my first ever game (And also my first post here! Hello). The game is an 8 bit-ish retro thing inspired by all things strange. With obscure references and a more than a few nods to Monkey Island, Twin Peaks and Wake in Fright.

Mostly dialogue with just a touch of action, it’s designed to be frustrating to play (you are after all lost in the middle of the woods with only your wits and some oddball locals for help) .This is just a sneak peek at a larger story that will eventually emerge from the strangeness. If you get to insert disk 2.. that’s the end (of the beginning). So if you like it and want to know more, let me know and maybe I’ll make the other disk.

(Just to warn you it does have a bit of bad language in it, a touch of violence and a lot of drinking!)
