Hello everybody. I'am now happy to announce my newest project i'am starting right now. It is called Stephanie and the Rainbow Gems. It will be the sequel to Stephanie and the witch's castle. The plot is that an evil wizard name Gazar has appeared and taken over Stephanie's home island. Now She must find the six rainbow gems to turn herself into Super Stephanie and defeat Gazar. Everything is on pencil and paper now. So hopefully everything will be planned out and have a great start.

Devlog 1:

Stephanie design is now complete. I gave her a new look. I gave her a party dress like outfit. Consisting of a white shirt with a black buckle and a pink skirt attached.

So this inspired me to make Stephanie's New outfit. Don't laugh. I love this outfit. I also completed the Super Stephanie design. (I won't reveal what it will look like until you play the game and obtain all seven Rainbow Gems.) And lastly I designed her backview for the 3D Maze bonus levels.

Devlog 2:

Tonight I worked on the bonus level prototype. Apparently the game engine I'am using doesn't feature d3d functions so I had to take a different path. But still I think it's pretty good. Its a rainbow road 3D bonus stage. The goal is to collect 50 hearts before you reach the goal. If you get 50 hearts you will win a Rainbow Gem.

Devlog 3:

The first 3 levels are ready to be designed. The first level is going to be called diamond fields where it's going to be diamond themed. It will feature diamond flowers and trees in the background. I need to work on panning the 1st boss level. I have the idea in mind.

Devlog 4:

After tonight's hard work. The first 3 levels (Diamond Fields) is completed. I won't show any screenshots yet. (I'm waiting for the project to be 50% completed.) I'm writing down the next 6 levels on pen and pencil because I already know what they're going to be.

Devlog 5:

Level 2 (Electric House) is finished. It will feature disappear and reappear platforms like in the old mega man games. Rats and robots as enemies. Use the crate to get to high places and teleporters to get pass the second half of the level.

Devlog 6:

Level 3(Candy Land) is finished. In this level it is a candy theme level. It will feature Cracking Oreo Platforms, Candy Canes, American Popsicles and Lollipops. Plus a Chocolate Waterfall and Chocolate water. The enemies I thought of are Jumping Cookies, Gummi Worms, and Green Jellymen. I like to inform everyone that if you like Retro Games. The next level I'm working on now is a tribute to Retro Video Games. More details to come.

Devlog 7:

The 4th level of the game is completed. It will pay homage to the golden age of video games. The platforms are a Pac-Man maze and the level has been decorated with Space Invaders, Pac-Man and Donkey Kong Barrels. Enemies are snapjaws from Donkey Kong Jr., Galaixians and Spiders from Centipede. Why not have Blinky from Pac-Man appear as the boss? After this I decided to show you a screenshot of the bonus level of this game. I hope you like it,

Devlog 8:

Sorry I haven't been here in awhile. My job kept me busy and I was tired and I needed the rest. But the good news is that I just completed 2 more levels in this game. The first one being a night field stage which is pretty much a field with flowers, trees, waterfalls and bridges but it is nighttime there. And the second one I just did is a toy theme level where you must dodge bullets from toy soldiers and get pass bouncing balls. Giant teddy bears, dolls and presents are used as décor. Now on to the last level of the game.

Devlog 9:

The game is now 50% finished. The main storyline is completed. Now all that is left to do is add sound, music and do the bonus levels. Here is screenshots of what the game will look like. I hope you like them.
