I have this terrible habit of coping with executive dysfunction by endlessly reminiscing over my past accomplishments. The struggle is real, but sometimes I go too far... Why bother making new things if I can just keep revisiting and venerating my old things?
Hence this series of sales. Starting on January 11th, I'll be progressively hacking away at the prices of my games, 10% at a time, until they're free. This is the eighth day of such sales, and they'll only get better. I want to watch my past crumble away to remind me not to cling to it, and that I should always look to shaping my joy in the present.
These games are genuinely great, but they're no laurels — so it's time I stop resting on them as such. The better these sales do, the more I can push myself to create more games that are even greater.
