Doing a reverse sale for my games this month! Basically, I want to raise money again for 2 reasons:
First to get make a reprint of A Touch of Glamour and send it out to those who haven't received it yet because my printer in China has officially lost my stuff and only confirmed it now.
And I'd like to pay to add days to my weekend (basically, take leave without pay) to finish writing an omnibus collection of the included games that will be woven into an entirely new game of its own. Bundle buyers get the new game when it gets released too.
UPDATE: Extra money going to me is bottom priority - a couple generous donations have enabled me to stretch outwards and pay it forward, so we're going to spread the love with this one.
This pandemic sucks and I'd like to help more people as I raise money to make this omnibus happen. So, effective stretch goals:
After reaching 300 USD:
Hire Aaron Catano-Saez for voice work to use his sweet instrument to murmur sweet questions from Of Warp and Weft into your ear. That's 108 questions that Aaron will record as tracks you can play in sequence or at random to develop your character during generation. Aaron's committed to using his best Enthusiastic Buddy, Smirking Rival, and Dreamy Dreamboat voices to get the creative juices flowing. We're paying Aaron industry rates for his work!
You can hear Aaron's wonderful podcast here: http://oneshotpodcast.com/interview-discussion/all-my-fantasy-children/
At 500 USD:
Provide a 200 USD grant to POC in TTRPGs to remunerate them for efforts done to uplift community members. It's often a thankless task. Let's give them a decent tip as we enter the last month of 2020.
At 700 USD:
Commit an additional 200 USD to get ENnie-winner and all-around awesome editrix Fiona Maeve Geist to edit two RPGSEA authors who would like an in-depth professional look into their work in time for Session Zero, an indie design con for the RPGSEA-based, Asian, and diasporic designers that will be held on January 30, 2021.
At 900 USD:
Omnibus fund-age means I'm going to take couple breaks off to finish it sooner rather than later! Everyone who bought the bundle will receive it as an update - you just need to email me your itch.io receipt!
At 1,000 USD:
Juilliard-trained Filipino polymath (coder, composer, communications whiz) Joshua Cerdenia will join with a piano accompaniment for Of Weft and Warp, completing the sonic soundscape with Aaron's voice. Just play on loop for some music that is both exciting and reflective. Joshua's music can be found here.
