hey! i'm not usually super active on itch.io, but this game has really stolen my heart, and i want to dump many more hours into it - its a perfect amount of organizational, experimental, and slow-paced, i really do adore it. however, after the first maybe six times of launching it, playing 3 or 4 hours at a time, playing fullscreen the first time and windowed the rest, it's started doing something strange - the unity splash loads in, as does the loading screen, but once the text disappears, the window stays black. if i continue to leave it open, it still shows the interval "saving, do not close the game" text at the appropriate times.
however, if i alt-tab out and grab the window, since i play it windowed, it will show a freeze-frame of whatever was on the screen "behind" the black as i drag it, but once i drop it again, it's dark. i've run it from a few different directories, and also removed and re-installed, but it doesn't seem to be changing anything.
i'll be honest, i don't usually troubleshoot video games: if it doesn't work, i leave it alone, but i do really genuinely love Mendel and would like to know if anybody else has had similar issues or if there's a known fix for this sort of thing.
