I don't know why you're accusing me of pirating? I'm on version 1.7 (was the current version when I first played) and now I'm updating to 1.8 (both of which were acquired here on the official Itch.io page) and just wanted to make sure when I updated to version 1.8 that it didn't overwrite my progress for whatever reason. I just wanted to check to be sure is all :/

Again, not really sure what part of my question inferred I was pirating the game and the need for inflammatory comments for no reason.

(edit: just realised your comment might actually have been targeted to the guy who initially replied to me who had actually pirated the game and not me. You can disregard my comment if that's the case.)

Yeah that's what I mean

When you update to the newest version of the game, do you need to backup your save or should progress, money etc be fine without a backup?
