Is it a recent version of mac? That might be the issue, from what I've seen, rpg maker mv games and newer macs don't get along well... I unfortunately have no idea what can be done about that
May I have more context on what part of the story you are on? It is important that you interact with as many things as you can! Have you tried checking the comic book store and the bar?

How does it not open specifically, and what operative system are you on? The game might not work on recent versions of mac - this is not a doll eye specific issue but a rpg maker mv game issue
Due to not owning a mac I can't check if that's a mac specific issue, as far as I know, it hasn't been happening to other mac users Could I have more context on this? Maybe a clip?
There will not be any download that isn't a zip in the main files, however, I could create a .rar folder if that works for you! Have you tried downloading a program you can use to extract compressed folders?
