Hello everyone,

I am a fairly quiet lurker here around the Itch.io community but love the engagement. I currently work in research and I would like to invite anyone who is interested to participate in a study I am running about mobile game preferences and habits. It is completely voluntary and while there is no compensation for participating, your results and data are highly valued and will help inform the industry about what gamers want! I can also share the results of the study here when the study is complete.

Thanks!

It depends on what you are hoping to achieve by releasing it early. If you are just releasing it for the sake of releasing it, I would hold off. However the phrase 'test early, test often' definitely applies. If you are hoping to gather player feedback and use it as direction for improving the game, an early release is not a bad thing. In fact, I would say that 18 levels into a puzzle game may actually be a bit late to release and get feedback from players.
