With the newest update it's happened atleast four times now where my hunger gets to the red stage and when I eat something(mostly food rations) it kills me instantly. Last time it happened I noticed it looks like whatever happened dealt around 2000 damage to me.
Love the game though. I've been playing the original pixel dungeon for atleast 5yrs and was starting to get out of it until I found this version.
