I'd recommend checking out the glossary, it explains things pretty well. https://celesteclassic.github.io/glossary/

yeah, a save / load system was planned for a long time but it didn't end up happening due to space limitations

also good tips for people who want to check out the trueskip content! :>

i love you devs

It's possible, but it requires a lot of advanced speedtech (spikeclips etc). Wasn't made with casual players in mind, haha. Would recommend checking out the Celeste Classic Glossary if you're interested in learning more: https://celesteclassic.github.io/glossary/

This is really cool. The main mechanic was clever (and fit with the theme of the jam well), and the puzzles were neat. My main problem is with the controls, they're way too touchy. I actually really liked the wall jump, the controls just make it a problem.

I feel like the character should move a tad slower, and maybe the spike collision should be altered a bit (it's really easy to accidentally jump into the hitbox from below).

Overall a really great puzzle game.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I agree that the collision is kinda weird. The way Unity handles Tilemap Colliders really doesn't work well for 2D Platformers, but manually editing collision would have taken far too much time to be worth doing.

Glad to know my voice acting wasn't terrible, haha.
